Job description

Job Requirements

Must have: Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology or other related field and/or Associate's Degree plus 2 years' manufacturing/production experience and/or High School diploma plus 4 years' manufacturing/production experience. The site will consider candidates with an Associate's degree who have less than the required 2 years manufacturing/production experience if it is a local Biotech degree. This is the only exception to the education/experience combo requirement at this time.

Requires basic knowledge of manufacturing function, acquaintance with and general understanding of aspects of the production process and ability to apply this knowledge to situations ordinarily encountered. Basic computer skills with Word and Excel. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.

Experience with Electronic Management Systems. Basic biological equipment knowledge and/or experience (i.e.: fermentation, centrifuge, concentration units). Basic understanding of biological organisms. Understands basic PPE/OSHA safety requirements. Understands sterilization and decontamination processes. Manufacturing/Production experience in the following fields: Mechanics, BioFuel, Food Production, Pharma, Military (if more focused on mechanics and production).
