Job description

BioConnectDE Fellow
Through Leading Youth Through Empowerment, this AmeriCorps member will serve at BioConnect DE supporting the implementation and daily operations of the Biomanufacturing Certificate Program, a workforce development initiative designed to prepare individuals for careers in the life sciences industry. The member will assist with program coordination, participant communications, outreach and marketing efforts, data management, and employer engagement activities that strengthen the organization's ability to deliver high-quality workforce training and career readiness programming. The member will support systems related to participant tracking, grant reporting, resource organization, and community partnerships while contributing to the sustainability and effectiveness of workforce development initiatives. Through this work, the member will help expand organizational capacity to support equitable access to education, credential attainment, and employment opportunities within Delaware's growing life sciences sector.
Member Duties : Assist with coordinating program logistics, training sessions, outreach events, and participant communications to support effective program delivery. Support data entry, participant tracking, grant reporting, and program evaluation efforts to strengthen organizational systems and capacity. Assist with social media updates, marketing materials, newsletters, and outreach efforts to increase program visibility and engagement. Help support workforce readiness initiatives by organizing resumes, job resources, LinkedIn updates, and employment-related materials for participants and alumni. Support employer engagement and community partnership activities, including hiring events, site visits, and industry outreach opportunities. Participate in administrative and operational projects that improve program sustainability, efficiency, and overall organizational impact.
