Duties and Responsibilities
The Postdoctoral Scholar participates substantially in full-time, mentored research or scholarship. It is a transitional position and is viewed as preparatory for an academic and/or research career. The scholar may also serve as a collaborator on a multi-scholar research initiative, and may have lead responsibility for discrete components of a larger project under the general direction of a senior or principal researcher.
Duties and Responsibilities:As a postdoctoral scholar at Dr. Pengfei Li's lab, you will play an important role in advancing the research agenda. Your responsibilities will include:
• Perform research on computational modeling of EF-hand proteins
• Perform method development for relevant systems of EF-hand proteins
• Supervise and instruct graduate and undergraduate students in Dr. Pengfei Li's lab
Minimum Education and/or Work Experience
A MD or PhD is required in a closely related field (e.g. Chemistry, Physics, Biophysics, Biochemistry, Molecular biology, etc).
Qualifications
Extensive expertise in computational modeling of proteins and/or computational method development.
