We currently have a role available for a Pharma Bioanalytical Chemist at our South San Francisco site.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Supporting Bio-Analysis sample preparation, design and perform mass-spec analysis as well as data analysis/interpretation from in-vivo studies from triple-quad mass spectrometers (Sciex 7500)
  • Characterization of recombinant proteins, antibodies, and ADCs using intact-MS and peptide mapping for routine QC using high-res mass spec platforms (Orbitrap).
  • Working closely with a team of scientists to support the development, optimization, and executing analytical assays for protein characterization and bioanalysis to guide large molecule therapeutic design.
  • Collaborating with the team to meet timelines and deliverables.
  • Performing general lab maintenance and instrument calibrations.

Job requirements include, but are not limited to:
  • BS - Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field with 2-5 years industry experience or MS with 1-2 years industry experience in a mass spec focused lab on antibodies/ADCs/ proteomics or in a relevant scientific discipline focused on mass spec and ADCs.
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
  • Works well both as a team and as an individual.
  • Demonstration of excellent team player skills, very strong attention to detail, very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.

This is a day shift position (approx. 8a-5p local time).
