Job description

The Fountain Group is a national staffing firm and we are currently seeking a Part-Time Nutritionist (Social Media Focused) for a prominent client of ours. This position is in Alameda, CA. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
  • Flexible hours from Monday through Thursday - will work 15 to 20 hours per week with 2 days onsite; actual work hours will be determined based on demand of program.
  • $32 - $34/hour based on previous experience.
  • The Nutritionist provides day-to-day responses of nutrition questions and conversations on branded social media channels.
  • This involves conversations across the social media landscape, responding to comments, questions and concerns focused on nutrition on all Lingo owned social and digital channels, and proactively engaging and establishing relationships with community members on existing and new channels.
  • Assist in the creation of nutritional content for the social media channels considering consumer insights and channel specificities.
  • Maintain a positive public image
  • Act as member of the multidisciplinary team, being the internal subject matter expert on nutrition/diet, metabolism and biosensors use.
  • Collect, review, and remain current on clinical research and data relating to nutrition, metabolism, and relevant biomarkers
  • Contribute to the development of customer-facing scientific and educational materials
Qualifications:
  • Education Required: BS in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related health field. Board Certification is strongly preferred as a Nutritionist or Dietician.
  • Minimum 5 years as Registered Dietician, Minimum 3 years with Experience in personalized nutrition (including ketogenic diets, lower-carbohydrate diets, therapeutic diets, sports performance diets), clinical lab markers and analyte evaluation, CGM use.
  • Passionate about social media and consumer engagement/advocacy
  • Will require Social Media Samples of past work they have completed - send portfolio links within resume
  • Social Media experience is key as they will be working within Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok
  • Experience liaising with media and the public and having the ability to communicate (writing and speaking) in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Well-versed in current events and health-related topics to answer questions about these topics during interviews or other appearances.
  • Ability to respond quickly with quality assurance always top-of-mind.
  • Must be comfortable to take on media interviews in person and online (including television, radio, and podcasts)
