Description Summary
Iowa Central Community College Dental Hygiene seeks a licensed dentist to fill a part-time clinic position. It is required that a dentist is present in the dental hygiene clinic while the students are providing dental hygiene services.
Examples of Duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
  1. The Dental Hygiene Clinic Dentist is responsible for supervision of dental hygiene students during clinic sessions.
  2. Supervision of the activities of the dental hygiene students during clinic sessions at Iowa Central Dental Hygiene Clinic.
  3. Provide comprehensive examinations to the clients of the Iowa Central Community College Dental Hygiene Clinic
  4. Provide prescriptions, referrals and consultative services as needed to the clients of the Iowa Central Dental Hygiene Clinic.
  5. Contribute to the achievement of the Dental Hygiene department goals.
  6. Provide additional leadership to the program.
  7. Attend meetings as required by the Program and/or College.

  1. Be able and willing to represent the college in the most positive manner with prospective, former and current students, clients, suppliers and the community we serve.
  2. Act professionally in the clinical setting.

Qualifications
Must have three years of recent dental experience. Current dentist with Iowa license.
