Job description

Works in designated sales territory (currently Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas) to achieve territory annual sales growth target and ensure customer satisfaction through selling Core Lab diagnostics systems and instruments to hospitals, reference laboratories, clinics, and government accounts. Acts as instrument and market knowledge expert for assigned Account Managers.

How You'll Make An Impact:

  • Works closely with territory Account Managers to ensure revenue growth.
  • Achieve instrument sales growth targets and instrument placement goals for assigned territory.
  • Provides full product information on all assigned Bio-Rad diagnostics instruments to customers through product demonstrations and sales presentations to high level executives.
  • Maintains information and knowledge of competitors and their products.
  • Develops, qualifies and follows through on sales leads from Account Managers, Sales Managers, Marketing Personnel, Field Service personnel, etc.

What You Bring:

  • Education: Bachelors of Science in a life science, technical related discipline or equivalent is preferred.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of five years successful sales experience selling capital equipment to hospitals, reference laboratories, clinics and physicians' offices.
  • Strong planning and organization skills.
  • Proven ability to skillfully present to high level laboratory/hospital executives.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information. Financial, legal, and common sense acumen in negotiating large contracts is preferred.
  • Proven ability for field travel in assigned territory and to have capability for 50% overnight travel.

Location: This position covers Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. The individual must live within a geography that allows them to visit customers on-site on a daily basis.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $121,200 to $166,700 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is also eligible for quarterly commission based on assigned sales quotas.
