Job Summary

Shambaugh & Son L.P. is seeking a skilled CDL Truck Driver to join our transportation team. In this position, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and materials to designated destinations. Your role will play a crucial part in ensuring the timely delivery of products and contributing to our company's reputation for reliability.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Operate company owned and leased trucks to facilitate shipping and receiving operations
  • Operate trucks for the delivery, pickup and relocation of construction materials and equipment
  • Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs
  • Safely haul material to our jobsites
  • Maintain and protect all property entrusted to you in excellent condition
  • Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations
  • Must operate and maintain company equipment in a safe manner at all times
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Class A CDL required
  • One or more year(s) flatbed tractor-trailer experience
  • Must be able to learn to operate all MHE used by the company
  • Availability for overnights 2-3 nights average
  • Clean driving record with no history of major accidents or traffic violations.
  • Ability to operate and maintain commercial vehicles safely and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for managing paperwork and logs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules.
  • Commitment to safety, both for oneself and others on the road.
  • Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
