Job Summary:
Tamarind Bio is focused on enabling scientists to access AI-powered drug discovery tools. They are seeking a Computational Scientist to curate and scale their library of AI tools, working closely with both the engineering team and customers to enhance drug discovery workflows.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Work with founders and engineers to integrate and deploy biological ML models on the Tamarind platform.
โ€ข Build and refine workflows connecting tools like structure prediction, docking, and scoring models.
โ€ข Partner with customers to troubleshoot pipelines and help them run large-scale discovery workflows.
โ€ข Evaluate new research tools and integrate promising models into the platform Contribute to improving reliability, performance, and scalability of scientific pipelines
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Strong background in computational biology, computational chemistry, bioinformatics, or related field
โ€ข Familiarity with ML and physics-based tools in structural biology, molecular dynamics, proteinโ€“ligand docking, or virtual screening
โ€ข Experience working with biological data such as molecular structures, compounds, sequences, and databases
โ€ข Programming experience in Python and scientific computing workflows
