EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required. Technical School training or additional Bio-works is preferred. Chemical processing experience is preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform simple mathematical calculations. Ability to read and accurately interrupt instructions from operational manuals. Effective verbal and written communications skills. Strong interpersonal skills with a desire to drive results. Ability to work with a team and individually. Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to operate and effectively use equipment such as forklift.


WORKING CONDITIONS: This position may perform activities in an environment that contains hazardous elements and requires safety awareness and adherence to all safety policies and guidelines. Work must be performed in a safe manner for personal protection and for the protection of other team members. All safety procedures, procedures described in SOPs, BPRs, and support the compliance of applicable ISO standards in all functional areas must be followed, enforced, and strictly complied with.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Position requires the ability to stand for a minimum of 3 hours per day; sit, walk, bend over, and reach above head for a minimum of an hour a day; lifting or carrying of up to 50 pounds occasionally and repetitive use of hands/arms for writing and computer work.
