Job description

Bindery Operator 1ย 

Starting Rate: $22.00 - $27.40 with a 7% increase for second and third shift.

Additional Incentives:

  • Company will provide all tools necessary
  • 2 Weeks Vacation
  • Training provided

Work Hours: 1st Shiftย  7:00am - 3:00pm, 8-10 hour shifts

Location: We have 2 locations in Crawfordsville, IN:ย  North Plant at 1009 Sloan Street; South Plant at 600 State Road 32 West.ย  This job is for the South Plant.

As an Assistant Machine Operator, you will:

  • Set up, Adjust & Operate a single piece of Machinery
  • Participate in training to prepare to promote into a Lead operator position
  • Inspect equipment for safety issues
  • Monitor quality, output and productivity
  • Learn to utilize tools to measure and adjust machine to target levels
  • Learn and engage in preventative maintenance tasks as required
  • Assist lead operator with providing guidance to crew members
  • Work in a team environment and cross-train with others

  • Ability to lift 20-50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for the duration of your shift
