Machine Operator (Bindery)

Shifts:

  • 1st = Mon-Fri (7am-3pm)
  • 2nd = Mon-Fri (3pm-11am)
  • 3rd = Sun-Thu (11pm-7am)

Description:

  • The Machine Operator primary function is to set-up and operate bindery machinery to create a finished product that meets customer specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Must be mechanically inclined
  • Experience with operating machinery
  • Ability to Bend, Reach, Crawl, Twist, and lift at least 50 pound unassisted
  • Ability to Stand for long periods of time is required
  • Ability to see, hear, count, read, measure, and follow verbal directions in English

Job Duties:

  • Set-up, operate, and maintain bindery equipment
  • Ability to evaluate and compare color
  • Maintain a clean, "lean" work environment
  • Keep the work area clean to company specifications
