Job description

Title: Bin Stock Coordinator Belong, Connect, Grow, with KBR! Program Summary KBR's Global Asset Management (GAM) group provides comprehensive manufacturing and supply chain solutions globally, serving both commercial and government clients. With a wide range of services including Government Property Management, Production Maintenance, and Equipment Tracking, GAM is dedicated to ensuring excellence in every aspect of the supply chain and asset management process. This commitment ensures the seamless operation of our clients' enterprises across diverse locations. Job Summary This role is responsible for managing a 2-bin inventory system by ensuring each bin is properly labeled, stocked with at least one month's usage, and maintained in clean, organized storage areas. It includes monitoring cost thresholds, coordinating bin changes with suppliers through the site 2-bin point of contact, and using supplier reports to manage inventory. The job also involves overseeing inspections to verify parts and documentation, communicating and tracking part shortages-especially critical ones-and conducting root-cause analysis for corrective actions. Regular quality and process audits are required to measure stock health, verify adherence to 2-bin procedures, and ensure accuracy of scanned card processing. Roles and Responsibilities
  • Manage the full 2-bin inventory system, ensuring proper labeling, organization, and minimum one-month stock levels.
  • Maintain clean, orderly storage areas and separate overstock appropriately.
  • Monitor and uphold cost thresholds for 2-bin parts.
  • Coordinate all bin changes with suppliers through the site 2-bin point of contact.
  • Use supplier reports to monitor open orders, shipments, and bin accuracy.
  • Oversee inspections to verify parts and documentation are correct and complete.
  • Communicate and track part shortages, including escalating and reporting critical shortages.
  • Investigate root causes of shortages and implement corrective actions
  • Perform regular quality and process audits to assess stock health and compliance with 2-bin procedures.
  • Review scanned card processes to ensure accuracy and proper order/shipment alignment.
Basic Qualifications

  • Customer Service Oriented
  • Ability to work over as the scheduled hours on occasion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge with SAP
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Compounds: paint, chemicals, etc.
  • Proficiency in gage setting, perishable cutting tools, grinding wheels, fixtures, and abrasive products
  • Forklift certification or capability to acquire one
