POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a BIM Coordinator to partner with project teams to ensure continuity and consistency of the project documentation process. This role applies established firm standards, tools, and workflows to day-to-day project delivery and serves as a first-line resource for project teams on Building Information Modeling (BIM) execution.

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Support project document and quality control: build custom BIM content, coordinate projects with consultant teams, and maintain model health protocols.

  • Drive firm content creation; review and implement external Revit content and maintain firm libraries.

  • Participate in the kick-off, coordination, and development of specific BIM tasks on projects.

  • Coordinate with Principals and Project Architects/Project Leaders to set the BIM execution plan (BxP) according to the project implementation plan.

  • Collaborate with project teams on model coordination and clash detection: facilitate project coordination through clash detection and BIM Quality Control (QC) services.

  • Share knowledge and mentor project teams in the implementation of new processes and design tools: assist in executing firm-wide training.

  • Coordinate the efficient and consistent use of digital tools for project documentation

  • Maintain project templates and training resources.

  • Ensure the quality of digital content for both design presentations and construction documents: manage BIM standards and organize project data on a project level.

  • Participate in crucial organizational R&D efforts, regarding advanced technologies within Digital Practice.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Architecture or Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) is required.

  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience working in Revit/BIM within architecture or AEC production.

  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills and a service mindset toward project teams.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Foundational knowledge of BIM standards, worksharing, and document management platforms, such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (Forma).

  • Knowledge of visual-based script platforms such as Dynamo or Grasshopper is preferred.

  • Interest in the Revit Application Programming Interface (API) is desired.
