We’re looking for a detail-oriented, dedicated professional to manage and streamline our medical billing process. This is a full-time, in-person opportunity with competitive pay, outstanding benefits, and a supportive work culture. Bring your expertise to our team, and let's make a difference in healthcare together!

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will be the backbone of our billing operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in every step of the process. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Claims Superhero: Review, process, and submit medical claims to insurance companies—both electronically and on paper—with exceptional accuracy and speed.
  • A/R Detective: Dive into aged accounts receivable, investigating unpaid claims, denials, and discrepancies. When necessary, you’ll fight back with appeals to get the claims paid.
  • Insurance Liaison: Communicate with patients and insurance companies to resolve billing inquiries, answer questions, and clear up any billing discrepancies.
  • Eligibility Expert: Confirm patient insurance eligibility and benefits to ensure smooth processing of claims and avoid costly delays.
  • Documentation Guru: Work closely with healthcare providers to gather necessary documentation, ensuring all claims meet submission requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Regulatory Guru: Stay on top of the latest medical billing changes and industry regulations, ensuring our billing practices are always compliant and up-to-date.
Requirements:

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience & Expertise: Bring at least 3 years of experience as a Medical Billing Specialist, with a robust understanding of medical billing systems. Bonus points if you’re familiar with Medical Mastermind PM or Prognocis EHR-PM! Experience working across multiple specialties is a definite plus.
  • Exceptional Communicator: You’re a pro at handling billing inquiries, with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and professionally with both patients and insurance companies, ensuring smooth interactions.
  • Detail-Driven: Accuracy is your middle name! You pride yourself on your keen eye for detail and have a passion for ensuring every aspect of the billing process is flawless.
  • In-Depth Knowledge: A solid foundation in Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance is essential. If you’re a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), that’s a bonus, but not a deal-breaker.

Why Join Us?

  • Competitive Pay: Starting at $40,000/year, with the potential for higher based on your experience and skills.
  • Health & Wellness Benefits: We’re committed to your well-being—enjoy employer-paid health insurance, with the added bonus of deductible reimbursement to help you cover out-of-pocket costs. Your health is a priority, and we’re here to support you every step of the way!
  • Generous 401(k) Benefits: Secure your future with our outstanding 401(k) plan! We’ll match up to 4% of your annual gross salary, helping you build your retirement savings faster. It’s our way of investing in your long-term success!
  • Flexible Full-Time Schedule: Achieve the perfect work-life balance with a full-time, bi-weekly schedule of 80 hours, Monday through Friday. With our flexible hours, you have the freedom to adjust your workday to fit your personal life—because we believe in empowering you to succeed both at work and at home!
