Title: Sr. Billing Operations Specialist
Reports To: Billing Operations Lead
Department: Accounting
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Position Status: Hourly Non-Exempt

Job Summary:
Responsible for working within our Billing team on different assignments based on the needs of the department. This could require auditing, submit billing invoices, or put together reporting that supports that team's efforts.
What You'll Do:
  • Works directly with National Account Teams to ensure that customer billing requirements are met.
  • Appropriately document and support communications on unbillables to NAT.
  • Responsible for setting new corporate customer billing requirements and documenting the process where needed on accounts assigned. As needed, attend customer training sessions, etc. to ensure that we are accurately meeting the customer's needs.
  • Works with the Accounts Receivable Collections/Cash App to help resolve payment issues and anything associated with billing process of their customers.
  • Able to run daily reporting to support the team and individual functions including invoices not submitted and invoices with issues.
  • Understanding multiple areas within billing not just one specialized function.
  • Leading the smaller customer focused groups within billing in regard to questions, workload distribution, and tasks from supervisors of Billing department.
  • Cross training on areas within billing team and relevant areas within the company to support the billing team's efforts.
  • Put together root cause analysis on issues that arise on the Billing team and offer solutions to prevent in the future to implement with help of Billing Lead.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

What You Need:
  • 3+ years of experience in billing, invoicing, finance, accounting.
  • Ability coordinating multiple projects/assignments simultaneously and completing assigned tasks accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail with excellent organization skills.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems while streamlining processes to continuously improve productivity and output.
  • Excellent communication and professionalism skills to manage interactions with customers both internal and external.
  • Ability to show initiative and take command of a situation independently.
  • Experience and ability to work with Microsoft suite of products including but not limited to Excel.
  • Ability to be very meticulous and verify work being completed for accuracy.
  • Ability to manage the stress of a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to meet the in-person requirements of the team and/or business needs.
