Billing Specialist – Laredo BSL Inc. 

 Location: 12130 Sara Rd, Laredo, Texas, 78045 
 Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. 

About the Role 

Laredo BSL Inc. is seeking a Billing Specialist who is detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to grow in a fast-paced logistics and international trade environment. This position involves preparing and reviewing invoices for import/export operations, ensuring accuracy across transactions, and supporting our accounting and operations departments with financial reporting and reconciliations. If you’re organized, analytical, and thrive in structured yet dynamic environments, we want to meet you. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Prepare accurate and timely invoices for import/export activities. 
  • Review supporting documentation (BOLs, invoices, packing lists, etc.) to verify billing accuracy. 
  • Record and maintain accounting transactions in QuickBooks. 
  • Generate weekly and monthly billing reports, adjustments, and A/R summaries. 
  • Communicate with clients to resolve billing questions or discrepancies. 
  • Support the accounting and operations teams with administrative tasks. 
  • Maintain well-organized electronic billing records in compliance with company policies. 

What We’re Looking For 

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Billing or Invoicing — however, candidates with an academic background in Accounting who are seeking to gain professional experience are also encouraged to apply. Strong entry-level candidates will be considered. 
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of QuickBooks. 
  • Basic understanding of import/export terms and logistics processes. 
  • Intermediate English (reading and writing). 
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and reliability. 
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
