Job description

Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group in partnership with a technology and security organization is seeking a Senior Billing & Collections Clerk. As the Sr Billing & Collections Clerk, you will be responsible for accurate and efficient billing processes for customer invoicing and payments as well as ensuring that customer collections are met within specified terms. The ideal candidate will have an associateโ€™s degree in accounting, 3 years of billing and collections experience and has worked in an ERP system and Excel. Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end customer and inter-company billing processes, including manual GL coding, EDI functions for major accounts, and affiliate account reconciliation.
  • Oversee accounts receivable by monitoring non-payments, calculating late fees, coordinating collection activities, and maintaining detailed records of delinquent accounts.
  • Investigate, reconcile, and resolve account discrepancies and transaction issues by collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer billing inquiries, manage credit card processing, research sales/use tax issues, and generate routine AR reports.

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Associateโ€™s degree in accounting or finance (additional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.)
  • Minimum of 3 years of billing and collections experience.
  • Familiar with SAP/S4Hanna or other ERP systems
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Experience in a multinational organization is a plus
