Many organizations also provide support through regular training and by fostering a collaborative team environment.

What is billing and coding?

Medical coders review clinical documentation and assign appropriate codes for billing purposes, while medical billers use these codes to create insurance claims and ensure providers are reimbursed for their services. Both roles are crucial for accurate billing, compliance with regulations, and efficient healthcare administration.
