We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll & Billing Specialist who takes pride in performing at a high level. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a structured office environment, communicates effectively, and is eager to take ownership of key financial processes. Office Location: 5740 Citrus Blvd Suite 102, Harahan, LA 70123
  1. Responsibilities:
    1. Process weekly payroll timesheets with accuracy and attention to detail.
    2. Prepare and submit weekly invoices for various types of unit and T&E work.
    3. Ensure invoices are delivered to customers promptly and follow up as needed to support timely payments.
    4. Maintain billing records in tracking sheets to confirm all work has been properly billed.
    5. Communicate with internal teams to gather necessary information and resolve any billing or payroll discrepancies.
  2. Qualifications:
    1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
    2. 3-4 years of office experience preferred, especially in payroll or billing.
    3. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
    4. Strong communication skills, including comfort with phone conversations.
    5. Able to work independently and solve problems with minimal supervision.
    6. Quick to learn new systems and processes.
    7. Must be available to work on-site, Monday through Friday (no remote or hybrid options).
