Job description

$2500 Signing Bonus

$500 payable within 45 days after successful

$1000 payable within 120 days after successful completion of 90 days employment.

$1000 payable within 180 days after successful completion of 90 days employment.

The Store Manager serves as the face of ACE Cash Express to our customers. On top of providing customer service and facilitating sales, you will also build professional relationships with customers, and gain in-depth knowledge of our lending (where applicable), check cashing and card services.

What does a normal day look like? 

  • Understanding customers’ unique needs and recommending appropriate ACE products and services.
  • Supporting Sales Associates and guiding them toward success in their roles.
  • Prioritizing active listening, clear communication, and empathy in all customer interactions.
  • Managing operations and driving overall store performance, which may include cash handling, check cashing, lending, bill pay, and card services, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Prioritizing accuracy, confidentiality, and strict compliance with industry regulations and safety guidelines. 
  • Actively promote all ACE financial services through cross-selling and marketing strategies, including marketing in the community. Train and support store employees in product knowledge.

We’re looking for Store Managers who have an entrepreneurial spirit and can work independently, embracing accountability for overall store performance. Building trust with customers is a top priority, so you will need to listen actively, communicate effectively, and empathize with their challenges, all with the intent of providing exceptional service. Store Managers will need to understand the diverse range of financial products and services that ACE offers. It is beneficial to have two or more years of retail experience. Proficiency in Spanish is welcomed in most of our markets and a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

The employee must have the ability to see clearly at both close and distant ranges, with the ability to adjust focus as needed. Additionally, the employee may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. 

The ability to work 10-12 hours in a confined work area is required, contingent on state specific labor laws.
