Job description

Gates Hudson, a full-service property management company, is seeking a Leasing Manager - Bilingual/Spanish to lead the leasing function at one of our residential communities. This role is responsible for driving leasing performance, coaching and developing Leasing Consultants, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality prospect and resident experience.
The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with a sales mindset, operational discipline, and a hands-on approach to ownership and follow-through.
What You'll Do
Leasing Strategy & Performance
  • Drive occupancy, traffic, and leasing results through effective strategy and execution
  • Monitor leasing performance, conversion metrics, and market trends
  • Adjust leasing approach as needed to meet property goals

Team Leadership & Coaching
  • Lead, train, and develop Leasing Consultants
  • Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable to performance and service standards
  • Provide regular coaching, feedback, and support to improve individual and team results

Customer Experience & Escalation Management
  • Ensure a consistent, professional prospect and resident experience
  • Handle escalated resident or prospect concerns as needed
  • Model strong customer service and professionalism for the leasing team

Operations & Process Oversight
  • Oversee leasing documentation, systems, and compliance
  • Ensure leasing offices, tour routes, model units, and common areas are tour-ready
  • Partner with the Property Manager and onsite teams to support smooth day-to-day operations

Collaboration & Market Awareness
  • Work cross-functionally with maintenance, property management, and corporate teams
  • Stay informed on local market conditions and competitive trends
  • Share insights and recommendations to support marketing and resident retention efforts
Schedule Expectations
  • Weekend availability is required, as most prospect tours occur on weekends
What We're Looking For
Required
  • *****Bilingual / Spanish *****
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Supervisory, lead, or mentoring experience in a leasing, sales, or customer-facing environment
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results through others

Preferred
  • ****Affordable - Tax Credit experience strongly preferred ****
  • Leasing, sales, or property management experience
  • Proven success driving leasing or sales performance at the team or property level
  • Experience with leasing systems, CRM tools, and performance reporting
