We currently have an active project near Kennesaw, Georgia, so candidates based near Kennesaw, Atlanta, Marietta, Acworth, Woodstock, or surrounding areas are strongly preferred. However, this role is not limited to one project. As DropletAI continues to expand, this position may support future projects in other locations across the U.S. and potentially other regions.

This is a field-focused role. Future travel may be significant, potentially 8090% depending on project needs. Our goal is to build a sustainable field execution model by hiring engineers close to active project locations whenever possible, or by assigning travel based on each engineers home base to reduce unnecessary travel burden.

  • Work with AMR/AGV systems, conveyors, sensors, network devices, controls equipment, and related automation components

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and operational workflow issues in the field

  • Coordinate with project managers, customer site teams, remote engineers, and vendor teams

  • Prepare daily reports, issue logs, testing records, and project documentation

  • Follow customer site safety, security, and operational requirements

  • Support system validation, training, handover, and post-go-live stabilization

What Were Looking For

  • Interest in robotics, automation, mechatronics, industrial engineering, IT, networking, or field service

  • Strong hands-on capability and willingness to learn

  • Ability to work in onsite project environments such as warehouses, factories, and distribution centers

  • Basic English communication skills

  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable solving practical problems in the field

  • Willingness to travel for future projects as needed

Strong Plus

  • Bilingual English/Chinese or Korean/Chinese

  • Experience with AMR, AGV, robotics, warehouse automation, manufacturing automation, PLCs, sensors, networking, IT support, or equipment maintenance

  • Prior onsite experience in a factory, warehouse, distribution center, logistics, or industrial environment

  • Ability to read basic technical drawings, electrical diagrams, network diagrams, or equipment manuals

  • Experience working with customer-facing project teams

Experience Level

Prior automation experience is preferred, but not required. We are open to training candidates who are hands-on, responsible, and willing to grow into the role.

Role Structure

  • Full-time, project-based, or contract structure can be discussed

  • Current project location: near Kennesaw, Georgia

  • Future project assignments may involve travel

  • Profit sharing available for strong performers
