Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role requires a strong leader with exceptional communication and relationship management skills who can successfully deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overall project performance, client satisfaction, and team leadership across multiple or large-scale construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all phases of construction projects, including pre-construction, planning, execution, and closeout.
  • Review project proposals, drawings, and contracts to determine timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and construction methods.
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and staffing plans.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure alignment with project goals and specifications.
  • Oversee daily project operations to ensure work is progressing safely, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Monitor project costs, track changes, and manage risk, including change orders and contract modifications.
  • Conduct regular site visits and project meetings to assess progress and address issues proactively.
  • Review and approve project reports, schedules, and cost forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with all local building codes, safety regulations, and government requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise Assistant Project Managers and project staff, including training and performance management.
  • Drive continuous improvement in construction processes, safety practices, and project delivery.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and contract management.
  • Experience managing multiple or large-scale commercial or residential construction projects.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software, including Procore, and strong technical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to travel to and visit project sites using company vehicles.
