Sea Mar Community Health Centers, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) founded in 1978, is a community-based organization committed to providing quality, comprehensive health, human, housing, educational and cultural services to diverse communities, specializing in service to Latinos in Washington State. Sea Mar's network of services includes more than 90 medical, dental, and behavioral health clinics and a wide variety of nutritional, social, and educational services. We are recruiting for the following position:

Medical Assistant - Certified (MA-C)
The Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) supports providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered primary care. This role serves as a key member of the care team, assisting with patient intake, clinical quality measures, documentation, referrals, and procedures to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent care.
Key Duties:
โ€ข Room patients, obtain histories and vital signs
โ€ข Track and document clinical quality measures in the EHR
โ€ข Assist providers with exams, procedures, and charting
โ€ข Administer medications and immunizations per protocol
โ€ข Coordinate labs, referrals, and specialty care
โ€ข Provide excellent customer service using the AIDET model
Qualifications:
โ€ข Graduate of an approved MA program
โ€ข Current MA-C license (or MA-Interim with certification within 90 days)
โ€ข BLS/CPR required (or within 90 days)
โ€ข Ambulatory care experience preferred
โ€ข Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
Fast-paced outpatient setting. May require travel to other clinic locations.
