We are seeking a detail-oriented Bilingual Auditor who is fluent in English and Spanish to join our team. The Staff Auditor will be responsible for reviewing records, documentation, transactions, and/or operational processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established policies, procedures, contractual requirements, and applicable regulations.

The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, comfortable communicating with Spanish-speaking individuals, and able to document audit findings clearly and professionally. Willingness to travel approximately 15-20%. Some onsite clients work maybe required. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct audits and reviews in accordance with established procedures and requirements.
  • Examine records, documentation, transactions, and supporting information for accuracy and compliance.
  • Communicate professionally in English and Spanish, both verbally and in writing to perform job duties effectively.
  • Interview or obtain information from Spanish-speaking individuals as needed during the audit process.
  • Identify discrepancies, deficiencies, trends, and potential compliance concerns.
  • Document audit results and maintain complete and accurate audit files.
  • Prepare clear reports summarizing findings and recommended corrective actions.
  • Follow up on identified issues to verify appropriate resolution.
  • Meet established deadlines and productivity and quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively with management, employees, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Fluency in English and Spanish required.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in auditing, compliance, quality assurance, accounting, investigations, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to review and interpret policies, procedures, records, and supporting documentation.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous auditing or compliance experience.
  • Experience working in the federal space including reviews, audits, or oversight of grant recipients in English/Spanish. 
  • Experience preparing audit findings, reports, or corrective-action documentation.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related discipline.
