Since 1989, their commitment to engineering excellence, superior quality, and customer-focused support drives them to innovate and continuously improve the most reliable automated solutions available.**Summary**ATI Industrial Automation is seeking a dynamic, proactive and bilingual (Spanish speaking) Application Engineer to manage our Tool Changer and Material Removal product lines. This role is a perfect fit for an individual with a strong foundation in engineering principles and a passion for robotics and automation. It is a remote role based in Texas covering the US and Mexico.**Primary Responsibilities*** Provide product technical support to customers in the pre-sale and post-sale process* Accompany sales personnel on customer visits to identify new opportunities and assist in closing sales by providing technical expertise and product knowledge.* Conduct product demonstrations using Robots and presentations to showcase product capabilities at tradeshows, conferences, and customer sites.* Develop novel applications for ATI products using Robots and publish videos and application notes* Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to customers in a timely fashion.* Use Salesforce for case management and customer support.* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive product and process innovation.**Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies*** Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Controls, or related Engineering discipline.* Spanish and English fluency.* 3 to 5 years of experience in an engineering role, preferably in the automation industry.* Strong understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.* Experience and familiarity with Robot (Fanuc, ABB, Kuka, etc.) programming is desirable.* Experience with SolidWorks and MS Office Suite.* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members and clients.**Travel Requirements*** Up to 40%Novanta is proud to be an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action workplace.
