Summary:

This role is primarily a Pedal Pub Pilot, leading tours on our iconic 15-passenger party bikes. When you’re not navigating the bike, you’ll also wear a social media hat, capturing content, engaging guests online and helping us keep our brand loud, fun and unmistakenly Pedal Pub. This role is out in the wild — creating content, engaging with fans online, and hopping on a Pedal Pub to capture the real deal. You’ll help shape the vibe that makes Pedal Pub the go-to party experience for visitors, locals, and social media fans alike.

This is a hand-on, high energy role that works best for some who wants to be regularly on the bike – because the best content comes from actually living the experience.

Compensation:

  • $14 per hour, PLUS the opportunity for generous tips, potentially increasing your hourly earnings by $40-$60 per hour.

Responsibilities:

Social Media:

  • Manage online guest reviews (and reply like the charming legend you are).
  • Create content for posts, stories, and reels that communicate “Pedal Pub energy.”
  • Engage with fans and guests across platforms — comments, DMs, emojis, the works.
  • Connect and collaborate with local influencers
  • Manage the social inbox and make sure every message gets a reply (no ghosting allowed).
  • Guide our Pilots on how to create and share awesome content from their tours.

Pilot:

  • Lead party bike tours — meet new people, soak up the energy, and get that first-hand content gold.
  • Capture real, authentic behind-the-scenes content while out on tours.
  • Represent the brand with personality, confidence, and just enough sarcasm to keep guests laughing.
  • Ensure bikes are always safe, clean and properly maintained.
  • Ensure that every guest feels welcome and safe.
  • Entertain guests while safely navigating predetermined established routes.
  • Follow check-in procedures and assist guests at check-in according to standards.
  • Ensure every guest has a completed waiver and verify age prior to ride departure.
  • Conduct efficient turnarounds between one tour and the next.
  • Conduct all check-out procedures in accordance with standards.
  • Understand the operating area and bar partners, adjusting as needed.
  • Follow all operations policies, procedures and standards.

Requirements:

  • A creative go-getter who’s not afraid to take charge and try something new.
  • In-depth knowledge of all top social media platforms and algorithms.
  • Confident behind a camera and in front of a crowd.
  • Passionate about marketing, content, and storytelling — but allergic to boring.
  • Comfortable working evenings and weekends because that’s when the fun happens.
  • A natural multitasker who can shift from pedaling to posting without breaking a sweat.
  • At least 21 years old with a clean driving record (we check!).
  • Must have an outgoing and charismatic personality with the ability to engage and entertain diverse groups of people.
  • Willingness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Pedal Bikes are covered so tours run rain, shine and heat!
  • Excellent ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with limited supervision.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to passenger safety, with the ability to stay calm and make quick decisions in varying situations.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand, sit and walk for prolonged periods of time.
  • Successful completion of our Pilot Certification Program after hire.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
