The Job

The Service Shop Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the Service Shop and Rental department. This position involves supervising the Service Shop & Rental Associates, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. The Service Shop Supervisor reports directly to the Retail Manager and collaborates with technicians, mechanics, and rental associates to uphold the standards of service excellence.

The Opportunity

  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to Service Shop & Rental Associates, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. 
  • Workflow Management: Oversee the daily workflow of the service shop, ensuring timely completion of tunes, mounts, and rental preparations. 
  • Customer Service: Address customer inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. 
  • Equipment Maintenance: Supervise the maintenance and cleanliness of rental equipment, ensuring it meets the highest standards. 
  • Coordination: Collaborate with technicians and mechanics to coordinate tunes, mounts, and servicing activities efficiently. 
  • Staff Training: Provide training to new Service Shop & Rental Associates, ensuring they are well-equipped to handle their responsibilities. 
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels for rental equipment and service shop supplies. 
  • Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and completeness of service and rental processes. 
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct performance evaluations for Service Shop & Rental Associates and provide constructive feedback. 
  • Reporting: Generate reports on service shop and rental activities, providing regular updates to the Retail Manager. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

The Must Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certifications in retail management is a plus. 
  • Proficiency in using standard office and communication tools. 
  • Leadership, adaptability, attention to detail, communication, critical thinking, customer service, inventory management, multitasking, problem-solving, product knowledge, teamwork, time management. 
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within a service shop or rental environment.
