PRISM Inc. is seeking a Senior Windows System Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Cloud Technologies to support a critical federal mission in Washington, DC.

As a senior member of our Enterprise Support Services team, you will collaborate with peer teams and partner groups to scale and deploy enterprise-level improvements, consolidations, migrations, and break/fix efforts. This role requires in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Server Architecture, PowerShell Scripting, Active Directory, and Workstation Management. We are Looking for a self-starter who can take ownership of complex issues, adapt to changing technology, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and take ownership of Windows system administration duties related to application migrations, upgrades, and new integrations. Support yearly updates to security benchmarks (DISA STIG) and baseline configurations on Windows Servers. Manage IIS middle-tier application hosting and provide operational support.

Oversee application control and security enforcement using tools such as AppLocker. Provide senior-level support for System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), including the packaging and distribution of software. Evaluate, recommend, and implement changes to Group Policies (GPOs).

Support System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) environments by implementing workflow automation. Manage the Windows Workstation imaging lifecycle, baseline configurations, and OS-level issue resolution. Act as the technical lead to resolve organization-wide outages impacting Windows Servers and Workstations.

Utilize PowerShell scripting to automate administration tasks and create new operational efficiencies. Create and maintain detailed system design diagrams and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Participate in on-call rotations and periodic disaster recovery exercises.

Engage with mission partners to plan for future upgrades and support day-to-day operations. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (SKILLS/EDUCATION): Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience (or 9+ years of experience in lieu of a degree). Expert knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell, Active Directory, and Windows Server (2019 & 2022) system log analysis.

Experience in organization-wide administration of Windows 11 Workstation OS. Strong understanding of TCP/IP-based networking concepts and command-line troubleshooting. Prior hands-on experience in scripting and enterprise-level automation.

Ability to process technical service requests independently using enterprise systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy). REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation capabilities.

Experience with Windows Server 2025 and Certificate Management. Hands-on experience working within an Azure environment. Working knowledge of LDAP and ITIL v4 Foundation concepts.

Familiarity with third-party management and monitoring solutions (SCCM, SCOM, InfoBlox DNS, BigFix). Well-seasoned technical experience in high-availability Microsoft System Administration. PRISM is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
