Join Our Team as a Farmhand at Big Mike's Bamboo!

Looking to work with your hands and enjoy the outdoors? Big Mike's Bamboo is a family-owned business located in Wauchula, FL, and we're passionate about growing and maintaining high-quality bamboo. We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Farmhand to join our team and help us care for our thriving bamboo farm. No prior experience? No problem! We’re happy to teach you the ropes as long as you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and get to work.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Farmhand at Big Mike's Bamboo, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Feeding and watering animals (cows, emus, chickens, ducks, goats), plus general care and cleaning of pens and coops. Assisting with the planting, watering, and maintenance of bamboo plants. - Performing general farm upkeep, such as weeding, pruning, and maintaining equipment. - Operating basic farm tools and machinery (training provided if necessary). - Helping with harvesting and preparing bamboo for distribution. - Ensuring the farm remains safe, organized, and efficient. 

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who: - Has a strong work ethic and enjoys physical, outdoor work. - Is reliable, punctual, and eager to learn. - Can work well both independently and as part of a team. - Is comfortable working in various weather conditions. - No prior experience is required, but a willingness to learn is essential!
