Salary: $17-$21/hr
Express Employment Professionals are seeking a motivated, mechanically inclined Diesel Support Technician to support master diesel techs with the inspection, preparation, and light repair of new heavy industrial commercial trucks for a company located in Denton, TX. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in fleet maintenance, heavy equipment, military vehicles, electrical systems, or installations, and offers a clear path to advance into a Diesel Technician position.
Pay: $17-$21/hr
Schedule: M-F 7a-4p and occasional Saturdays
Preferred Backgrounds
• We welcome candidates from a variety of hands-on technical backgrounds, including:
• Fleet or vehicle maintenance experience
• Military experience working with:
o Heavy equipment
o Tactical vehicles
o Aviation ground systems
• Automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment repair
• Electrical, wiring, or installation work (low-voltage or vehicle systems)
• Construction equipment, agricultural equipment, or industrial maintenance
Basic Qualifications
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and shop practices
• Ability to read service manuals, diagrams, and instructions
• Comfortable working with electrical systems and wiring
• Ability to lift, bend, and work in a shop environment
• Valid driver's license
Nice to Have (Not Required)
• ASE certifications or technical schooling
• Experience with diesel engines or heavy-duty trucks
