Responsibilities

  • Performing vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and GM multi-point vehicle inspections in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
  • Inspect and refill fluids to the appropriate level
  • Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation, clean and lubricate fittings as needed
  • Communicate any vehicle concerns to appropriate shop personnel
  • Maintain efficiency and accuracy when working on vehicles
  • Inspect for and document any worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage
  • Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks

Qualifications

  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic and pride in one's work
  • Eagerness to improve
  • High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
  • Dependable team player with a good attitude
  • One year in a service department (preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
