Job description

Join the coolest Distribution Center in Tennessee! Our Distribution Center is the heartbeat of our business. Whether you're a Distribution Center Associate, processing and shipping merchandise to our stores, or an Internet Fulfillment Associate, accurately picking and packing e-commerce orders, you'll play a key role in getting our products into our customers' hands. Like Harry Potter, you're the one creating the magic behind the scenes that brings the Hot Topic experience to life.
Pay Range: $16.00hr - $17.50hr
Please note the pay range for this position starts as listed in the job posting, but other factors such as shift will determine the final salary for potential new hires.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Pack and prepare orders for shipment. We move quickly, so you'll be able to keep up with our pace while using the appropriate supplies and packing materials
  • Ensure that all orders are accurate and inducted in a timely manner. You'll handle shipments efficiently to ensure smooth workflow from one workstation to the next
  • Stock new merchandise as received
  • Communicate with management on any production issues that arise.
  • Stick to all company policies and procedures, including safety, cleanliness, and code of ethics
  • Monitor production supplies and partner with Supervisor or Team Lead to order additional supplies as needed
  • Follow all written departmental procedures and identify any changes that may be necessary, reporting these findings to your supervisor
  • Work in a new, climate-controlled building with an awesome break room and overhead music throughout.
  • Distribution center environment with a moderate-to-loud noise level.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • This role requires physical stamina and attention to detail in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Team Members will pick customer and store orders, pack products, handle totes, and move boxes throughout the operation.
  • Responsibilities include standing and walking for extended periods, frequently lifting and carrying boxes up to 50 lbs., and bending, reaching, twisting, and performing repetitive motions while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.
  • Reliable transportation
  • Previous DC and/or Internet Fulfillment experience preferred but not required

$16 - $17.50 an hour
Monday-Thursday 4:45am-3:15pm / 4:55am-3:25pm - $16.00hr
Sunday-Wednesday 4:00pm-2:30am - $16.50hr
Friday-Sunday 4:45am-5:15pm / 5:00am-5:30pm - $17.50hr
