Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow our commercial sales organization for a rapidly growing facility management and building services company.

This role is responsible for driving new business growth across a broad portfolio of services, including janitorial services, porter services, building maintenance, engineering support, landscaping, concierge staffing, superintendent services, and other facility solutions for residential, commercial, healthcare, educational, industrial, and mixed-use properties.

The Sales Manager will develop and execute the company's sales strategy, lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, build relationships with property managers, building owners, developers, and management companies, and personally assist in closing key business opportunities.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on building teams, winning new business, developing long-term client relationships, and driving measurable revenue growth.

Ideal Candidate

We're looking for a proven sales leader with experience selling facility management, janitorial, commercial cleaning, building maintenance, staffing, security, landscaping, property services, or another B2B service solution.

The ideal candidate has experience managing a sales team while remaining actively involved in business development. They are comfortable prospecting, responding to RFPs, networking with commercial real estate professionals, property managers, developers, and building owners, and helping their team close complex sales opportunities.

This individual is strategic, hands-on, highly accountable, and driven to build a scalable sales organization that consistently exceeds revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company's sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and train new sales professionals.

  • Monitor sales performance, forecasting, pipeline health, and revenue metrics.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Finance, Customer Service, and Leadership to maximize business growth.
  • Maintain CRM accuracy and oversee proposal development, pricing, and contract review.
  • Continuously improve sales processes, reporting, and overall team performance.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience.
  • Proven track record of leading successful B2B sales teams and consistently achieving revenue goals.
  • Experience selling facility management, janitorial, commercial cleaning, building services, staffing, security, landscaping, property services, or similar outsourced business services strongly preferred.
  • Strong business development, account management, and strategic sales experience.
  • Experience responding to RFPs and developing proposals is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
