What Is a Bible Teacher?

A Bible teacher provides a biblical education and Christian history to students in private schools and colleges. Their curriculum is usually set by their religious leaders and provides tenets of faith and beliefs unique to their denomination. Biblical studies cover the teachings of the Bible with spiritual context and historical enrichment. Unlike broad religious studies on Christianity as a religion, biblical studies focus on the Bible and not the events after the last writings. Denominational history is applied either concurrently or separately and varies depending on the school and student age group.
