Project Manager – Lead Ground-Up Commercial and Retail Developments


Job Overview:

  • Company: Complete Construction LLC.
  • Salary/Pay Rate: $100,000 to $120,000 per year 
  • Location: Onsite - Shawnee, KS (Travel Projects with per diem).
  • Job/Employment Type: Full Time.
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday.
  • Project Scope: Commercial / Ground-Up / Retail / QSR.
  • Mandatory Licences & Certifications: None Required.


The Opportunity:

You will serve as a high-impact leader responsible for driving the successful execution of fast-paced commercial and retail construction projects. This role grants you the autonomy to manage complex builds while supported by a growth-oriented team that values a "team-first" mentality. You will have the opportunity to take full ownership of project lifecycles in a mid-sized, rapidly expanding company environment.


How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Directed all phases of ground-up commercial projects to ensure they remain on schedule and within established budget parameters.
  • Coordinated with subcontractors and vendors to maintain a seamless workflow on fast-paced retail and QSR job sites.
  • Communicated project milestones and potential risks proactively to stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Resolved complex logistical and technical on-site obstacles by implementing creative, proactive problem-solving strategies.
  • Strengthened project outcomes by maintaining an organized, detail-oriented approach to documentation and contract management.
  • Evaluated project progress against strict timelines to ensure "Complete Construction" standards of quality are met or exceeded.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience managing ground-up commercial construction and retail/QSR projects.
  • Strong accountability and ownership mindset with a track record of meeting fast-paced schedules.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a respectful but firm leadership style.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and make decisive actions in a high-stakes environment.
  • Self-motivated professional capable of delivering results with minimal need for micromanagement.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Commercial Project Management role within the construction industry.
  • Associates Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
