Job Description:
As a Business Intelligence Architect, you will be responsible for designing, solutioning, developing and leading developers creating reports and dashboards delivery to clients.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Architecting complex solutions based on clients custom requirements.
  • Have deep expertise on ThoughtSpot Embed use cases and utilizing ThoughtSpot's REST API's and Visual Embed SDK to integrate ThoughtSpot with various custom applications.
  • Create and maintain user/group and administer the ThoughtSpot cluster from a Data Admin perspective.
  • Help the developers create and maintain reports and dashboards using Business Intelligence applications using IBM Cognos Analytics
  • Create BI solutions leveraging data form Cloud data warehouses like Snowflake
  • Write and maintain SQL queries to retrieve data from relational databases.
  • Analyze and understand business requirements to design and develop effective reports and dashboards.
  • Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, data flow diagrams, and technical documentation
  • Define best practices for reporting, data visualization and analytics solutions
  • Implement data security, role base access controls and compliance measures with BI platforms
  • Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning for ThoughtSpot and Cognos environments.
  • Collaborate with the business stakeholders to understand their information needs and provide insights.
  • Provide technical support to end-users on report and dashboard related issues.
  • Participate in project planning and provide input to the design and development process.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex Cognos issues, providing expert-level support.
  • Oversee the migration and upgrade of Cognos environments.
  • Ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in computer science or related field.
  • Expertise with ThoughtSpot Embed and Visual SDK is a must
  • 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics Tools.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Cognos BI developer or architect
  • Expert-level proficiency in IBM Cognos Analytics (11.x or later).
  • Strong experience with Cognos Framework Manager, Report Studio, Dashboarding, and Analysis Studio.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling
  • Experience with SQL and database technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Oracle).
  • Experience with Power BI, ThoughtSpot SaaS
  • Experience with REACT is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly learn and understand complex business processes.
  • Strong knowledge of front-end Java Script and CSS.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
