We are seeking a seasoned Manager of Engineering to lead our Building Automation Systems (BAS) and HVAC Controls engineering practice. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will oversee a team of Controls Systems Engineers and Designers, ensuring that we deliver technically precise, cost-effective, and innovative automation solutions for large-scale construction projects.
You will act as the regional subject matter expert, serving as the technical authority for application engineering and advanced controls. • Process Excellence: Enforce engineering quality standards and "best practices" playbooks. Champion the adoption of new technologies and workflows that drive productivity and project delivery speed.
Project Delivery & Financial Management
• Technical Oversight: Oversee the entire engineering lifecycle, from pre-bid estimates and "Release to Engineering" meetings through final network-level commissioning.
• Financial Stewardship: Lead engineering cost estimating and budget forecasting for major projects. Monitor team performance and project financial health using advanced reporting and BI analytics.
• Delivery Governance: Ensure that all engineering deliverables are on-time, within budget, and fully compliant with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
Technical Authority & Stakeholder Management
• SME Guidance: Serve as the regional expert in application engineering. Provide advanced-level support for complex integration, system networking, and hardware/software implementation issues.
• Customer Relations: Build and maintain high-trust relationships with consulting engineers, architects, and facility owners. Support Strategic Accounts by ensuring consistent engineering quality across all project phases.
• Safety & Culture: Promote a culture of safety and operational excellence. Ensure all engineering activities adhere to the highest ethical and safety standards.

• Engineering Baseline: Minimum of eight (8) years of application engineering experience, specifically within the Building Automation / HVAC Controls sector.
• Leadership Experience: Prior supervisory or management experience leading technical/engineering teams.
