THE ROLE:
As an Associate Designer in the seamless space, you will play a vital role in the design and development of cutting-edge seamless apparel. Working closely with the design team, you will contribute to the creation of innovative, functional, and stylish garments that meets the needs of our target audience. This role involves translating concepts into tangible designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying updated on industry trends to ensure our products remain at the forefront of the market.
YOU WILL:
  • Initiate product development packets
  • Update tech packs to reflect silo/construction changes throughout the product lifecycle
  • Loading items into CBX
  • Contribute to the conceptualization and development of seamless designs in collaboration with the design team.
  • Create detailed sketches, renderings, and digital illustrations to visualize design concepts.
  • Assist in creating seamless garment patterns, ensuring a balance between functionality, comfort, and aesthetics.
  • Manage communication with overseas offices on product development.
  • Organize and align needs with customer calendars to ensure on-time submissions.
  • Work alongside cross-functional counter parts
  • Support designers on preparing seasonal trend presentations based on understanding of product line and whitespace opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1-3 years industry experience required; previous experience or internships in activewear or seamless design is a plus.
  • BA, BFA or BS in Design required (or equivalent)
  • Comfortable in Adobe Suites platforms
  • An understanding in 3D design, an asset
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric properties, and production processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
