Overview Summary: As an Access Associate, you will provide administrative support duties such as greeting patients, performing check-in and check-out procedures, and processing payments. You will be the first point of contact for patients and their families. Job Title: Access Associate Department: Emergency Location: 1415 Portland Avenue Suite 190 Rochester, NY 14621 Hours Per Week: Per Diem - 0 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3pm-9pm, every other weekend and holiday Responsibilities Customer Service: Manage incoming calls; provide necessary information; greet patients; provide directions as needed; schedule patient appointments. Registration & Verification: Complete the registration process for patients as defined by departmental policy; verify insurance eligibility/coverage and obtain necessary precertification/authorization when applicable. Billing & Payments: Collect and process payments when applicable. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Not specified.
