Job Description

We are seeking Mill/Mixer Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink. We will train right candidate to operate a Mill Machine and on TPM activities. As aย Mill/Mixer Operator you will be responsible for:

  • Cleaning and maintaining machine to TPM Standards
  • Learning and applying TPM knowledge to daily activities
  • Weigh-Up Batches: Following process order of addition.ย Shift auto and manual steps
  • Mix Batch: Dischargingย pigment and operatingย mixer safely; following and adheringย to all INX Mixer SOP's
  • Hockmeyer mill operation: Running and maintaining optimum OEE (overall equipmentย effectiveness) standards
  • Creatingย and maintaining a database of all existing formulas including processing times
  • Canning
  • Operatingย the following: Press out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift
  • Acting as a QC liaison, providingย ink samples, makingย ink adjustments, and recording data
  • Completingย scheduled maintenance,ย and troubleshooting procedures
  • Helping with repacks
Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

  • Have a high school diploma or (GED) desired;
  • Have 3 months of work related experience
  • Demonstrate good math and basic computer skills,
  • Have attention to detail
  • Be reliableย to work assigned shift
  • Be flexible to work overtime as requiredย ย 
  • Be able to perform an active role with any multi disciplinary teams.
  • Have good attendanceย and punctuality
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as requiredย ย 

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:

  • Forklift experience, but we can train you
  • Mixing, Mill, and Pump filter industry background
  • Previous experience within the Ink Industry
