RSI Texas, LLC.
RSI Texas, LLC (RSI), a CFESA certified company, is seeking Refrigeration Service Technicians in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex to join our team.
Responsible for performing repair, maintenance, installation and/or refurbishment work for commercial beverage-related food service equipment such as coffee, tea, juice or espresso machines. Technicians will be provided with a company van, appropriate inventory to perform service calls and a work cell phone and tablet. Technicians must be comfortable with or willing to learn how to document all work performed on a tablet. This position is an excellent cross-over opportunity if you have any mechanical training (auto, plumbing, electrical, etc.) and are simply looking for a change. Responsibilities Include:
  • Repair, maintain, install or refurbish equipment according to an established service schedule, company and factory standards and within acceptable time frames as well as troubleshoot and rectify potential problems on location.
  • Apply knowledge of products and seek additional training and education as appropriate.
  • Document legibly and accurately all work completed and submit such orders to office personnel according to company policy.
  • Work closely with management to ensure timely scheduling of work.
  • Maintain service vehicle in a clean manner.
  • Build and maintain customer relations in the field to ensure excellent customer service and enhance the company's image.
  • Offer assistance and instruction to employees as needed.
  • Train new employees on all aspects of the Field Service Technician position.
  • Develop and implement quality control training for Field Service Technician employees
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Must be EPA certified.
  • You have experience with Beverage & Espresso equipment service
  • Must be registered with the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration (TDLR)
  • Industry certifications such as CFESA, NATE, and FACTORY are preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screening
  • Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record

Physical Requirements:
  • Exert up to 150 pounds of force (pulling, pushing, lifting, carrying, etc.) regularly and up to 50-75 pounds of force frequently without assistance.
  • Climb and work from 8ft ladder, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, twist, grasp to perform essential job functions.
  • Tolerate environmental conditions consisting of extreme heat, cold, noise, vibration, fumes, dust, and poor ventilation.
