Lodge at Marconi is seeking part-time/ full-time restaurant and event servers with a minimum of 2 years fine dining experience. Familiarity with Aloha POS, wine knowledge and exceptional customer service skills are a must. We are looking for individuals with a great sense of hospitality and the ability to work well with others. A flexible schedule including mornings, lunch shifts, nights, holidays and weekends is required. Candidates must be punctual, reliable, detail oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

  • Taking food and beverages orders and ensuring that they are delivered to the table in a timely fashion
  • Provide great hospitality by going above and beyond for every guest
  • Explaining the menus to guests and accommodating their requests
  • Paying close attention to your tables to ensure that they are always taken care of
  • Delivering the bill and processing payment
  • Treating all guests with the utmost courtesy and respect
  • Assisting with closing and opening duties
  • Assisting with hotel and banquet operations as needed
  • Understand and proficiently use the POS system 

Qualifications:

  • Must be eligible to work in the USA
  • Food service experience preferred
  • Ability to learn and understand basic food practices

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work on your feet for up to 10 hours. Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting products and supplies weighing 20 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds as well as repetitive hand and wrist motion.

Lodge at Marconi is a secluded 45-room hotel and event destination perched in the hills above Tomales Bay with a restaurant slated to open in August 2024. Built in 1972, the Lodge at Marconi was originally designed by renowned architect Ellis Kaplan as a timeless space that integrated with its natural surroundings.
