Job description

We are looking for Scrum Master - Remote / Telecommute for our client in Atlanta, GA.

Job Title: Scrum Master - Remote / Telecommute

Job Location: Atlanta, GA

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range $50hr - $55hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Strong experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
  • Expertise in Scrum, Kanban, Agile methodologies, and SDLC processes.
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile tools.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, mentoring, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Experience managing cross-functional and distributed teams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Coach team members, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles and Scrum best practices.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Promote Agile adoption and maturity across teams.
  • Track sprint progress, team velocity, burndown charts, and release milestones.
  • Identify and remove impediments impacting team productivity and delivery timelines.
  • Support release planning and coordinate across multiple teams.
  • Ensure teams consistently deliver high-quality outcomes aligned with business goals.
  • Work closely with Product Owners to maintain a well-groomed and prioritized backlog.
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, development teams, and leadership.
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and escalation items throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, delivery metrics, and team performance.
  • Analyze Agile metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Drive retrospective actions and monitor implementation of improvements.
  • Support organizational Agile transformation initiatives.
  • Encourage best practices for planning, estimation, and delivery.

Nice to Have:

  • Scrum certifications such as CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent.
  • Experience in large-scale Agile delivery programs.
  • Exposure to Agile transformation and scaling frameworks.
  • Knowledge of project management and release management practices.
  • Healthcare domain experience is an added advantage.
