About the Employer
Dublin, a suburban city in Alameda County's East Bay and Tri-Valley regions, has a population of about 73,000 and sits at the I-580/680 intersection. Dublin Unified School District (DUSD) serves nearly 13,000 students from preschool to adult education across a diverse community. The district includes seven elementary schools, two middle schools, two TK-8 schools, one continuation high school, and two comprehensive high schools. Committed to inclusive education, DUSD employees embrace the opportunity to ensure all TK-12 students receive instruction in the least restrictive environment by way of inclusion programming. Recognized among the "Best School Districts in California," DUSD schools have earned accolades such as the AP Honor Roll, National Blue Ribbon School, Gold Ribbon Award, and California Distinguished School.
Shamrock Hills is DUSD's newest TK-8 school, which will be located in Central Dublin on Horizon Parkway. Shamrock Hills will open in August 2026 as a TK-6th grade, serving over 750 students in its opening. In the 2027/2028 school year, we will open 7th grade, and in the 2028/2029 school year, we will be fully open as a TK-8 grade with around 1,000 students at its full capacity.
