A Taste of What You'll Do

Join GALLO’s cellar production team and play an essential role in creating high-quality products in a safe, clean, and collaborative environment. Under general supervision, you will support day-to-day cellar operations, care for equipment and facilities, and help maintain the standards that keep production moving efficiently.

In this hands-on role, you will safely operate assigned equipment—potentially across up to four machine centers—to meet production, quality, and cost goals. You will complete routine production reporting, inventory data entry, quality checks, and verification activities while maintaining an organized, sanitary, and food-safe work area. You will help ensure equipment and facilities are properly cared for and ready to support dependable operations.

We are looking for someone who brings attention to detail, a strong sense of urgency, and a commitment to safety, quality, and productivity. You will communicate with teammates, leaders, and partner departments; assist with basic machine troubleshooting; and help train others on standard procedures. You will also contribute to clear, practical work instructions, checklists, job aids, and standard work that support consistent results.

What You'll Need

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate; or 1 year of experience in beverage production, manufacturing or operations.
  • Required to wear a respirator when necessary.
  • Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Required to work at heights and in small areas.
  • Required to comply with company GMP policies.
  • Basic knowledge of data entry into production or quality systems.
  • Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
  • Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

How You'll Stand Out

  • High School Diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 2 years’ experience in beverage production, manufacturing, or operations.
  • Experience in the sanitation of food production and/or packaging equipment.
  • Experience in using a computer.
  • Experience operating a forklift.

  • We offer a broad salary range to allow for long-term growth. Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. In addition to the salary, this position may be eligible for bonuses, incentive plans, or participate in tasting room tip pools, as applicable.
  • This position will be based in the location(s) specified in the job posting and requires working on-site with no telecommuting option. You will be expected to live within a commutable distance.
