Job description

HHAeXchange is the leading technology platform for home and community-based care. Founded in 2008, HHAeXchange was born out of an idea to create a fully comprehensive end-to-end homecare solution to help people who are aging or have disabilities thrive in their homes and communities. The Payer Solutions Architect will be responsible for the coordination, communication, definition, and completion of assigned projects, primarily related to the rollout of our State and Payer solutions, including both the State / Payer and the providers who access the solution as a part of the Payer's network. Reporting to the Director, Payer Solutions, the Payer Solutions Architect will ensure consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. The Payer Solutions Architect will remove barriers for the implementation, customer success and sales teams, so we have timely implementations with positive client experience and engagement. This role requires impeccable attention to detail, exceptional technical skills, a deep understanding of how the solution should function for all customer stakeholders, strong written and verbal communication skills, and excellent project management skills.
This is a hybrid position for members located in Minneapolis Metro or New York City Metro areas, with expectations to work onsite 3 days per week to support collaboration and engagement.

Essential Job Duties
  • Partners with internal and external teams before, during, and after implementation provide subject matter expertise and best practice solutioning for Payer and Provider workstreams.

  • Leads process of setting standard configurations for Payer/State and Sponsored portals and determines when market variability is required.

  • Partner with leadership to shape roadmap decisions by surfacing trends, risks, and opportunities from the field.

  • Improve internal processes related to discovery, testing, and go live for Payer/State implementations.

  • Represent the technical perspective in cross-functional discussions and strategy sessions.
  • >
  • Contribute to CMS and Federal Certification activities to support customer deliverables such as evidence gathering, presentation material and system demonstrations.
  • >
  • Proactively identify challenges that could impact clients go live dates or delivery, mitigate where able and/or develop and deploy an effective communication strategy to client and key stakeholders.

  • Drives new market diligence efforts to set standard environment configurations, document market best practices and identify product gaps.

  • Act as a trusted partner to Sales, Product, Customer Success, Network Management, and Implementation leadership to ensure seamless handoffs and aligned execution.

  • Support pre-implementation activities including review of implementation requirements, contractual deliverables, and identifying risks and issues prior to the Sales to Implementation hand-off.

Required Education, Experience, Certifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Healthcare Management, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in technology implementations, preferably in healthcare with a focus on solution configuration//design
  • Skills:
    • Deep understanding of SaaS implementation models, preferably within home and community-based care, Medicaid, or payer-driven environments.
    • Demonstrated success in building repeatable processes, managing risk, and driving operational excellence.
    • Exceptional communication, judgment, and decision-making skills.
    • Passion for improving healthcare delivery and outcomes through technology.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Willingness to explore and adopt AI tools responsibly to enhance productivity and innovation in your role.

The base salary range for this US-based, full-time, and exempt position is $90,000 - $110,000, not including variable compensation. An employee's exact starting salary will be based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, location, and the ability to exemplify the HHAeXchange core values.
