Job description

Charlotte's Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the Cotswold area in finding a nanny for their baby, due in October. The nanny would be needed 40 hours a week; the schedule will vary depending on the family's schedule and can include weekdays and weekend hours. The schedule will be given in advance.

Travel with the family will be required and can include domestic and international travel. A passport or the ability to obtain a passport is required; all related travel expenses will be covered by the family.

The best nanny would be a dedicated, compassionate professional who is passionate about early childhood development and enrichment. An ideal nanny would be academically minded with a genuine interest in educational enrichment activities, including regular library visits, science center trips, fostering a love of reading, and mental stimulation. This nanny should be active and enthusiastic about supporting the family's commitment to early swim lessons and sports from an early age.

The nanny must thrive in an active, engaged household environment that values personal growth and development. Above all, they are looking for a nanny who possesses the experience and expertise to provide a safe and enriching environment for their child as they grow older. Nanny Responsibilities Include:


  • Meeting the needs of the child (Feeding, changing, napping, and comforting)

  • Ensuring the child's safety

  • Handling diapering, bathing, and soothing techniques

  • Logging diaper changes, sleep, and other important details of the baby's day

  • Engaging baby in age-appropriate activities both at home and in the community

Household Duties Include (Child is priority):


  • Wash baby's laundry and linens

  • Changing baby's sheets and changing pad cover

  • Bottle and Meal Prep

  • Washing and sanitizing bottles and pump parts

  • Tidying up after child and Nanny

  • Restocking diapers and other baby items

  • Emptying diaper pail as needed

Pets: The family has two 40-pound Goldendoodles. The nanny must be ok with dogs and not allergic to them, and they may occasionally need to be let out in the backyard. The family has a pet sitter, so pet care would not be a primary job.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of nanny experience

  • Infant care experience is a plus

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • Have a professional resume

  • Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

  • Have a valid driver's license

  • Have safe and reliable transportation

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:
