Job description

The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC) is looking for the best of the best entry-level Logistics Management Specialists to join our team.


This is a premier federal civilian career-ladder opportunity with guaranteed advancement potential from entry level (Associate) to senior-level (Lead Specialist).


The Mission: You will be at the forefront of integration and sustainment logistics. You will support the entire lifecycle of vital expeditionary and facility systems for the U.S. Navy. Your work ensures our operational forces have the equipment, parts, and support they need to succeed worldwide.

This role is your ultimate foundational step into Integrated Product Support (IPS) and Configuration Management (CM).


What You’ll Do

  • Manage Lifecycles of Expeditionary Equipment: Support cradle-to-grave logistics, provisioning, cataloging, and allowance documents (APLs/AELs).
  • Drive Readiness: Coordinate IPS for assigned systems and analyze data to solve real-world fleet challenges.
  • Plan the Future: Forecast requirements for spare parts, manpower, and specialized training.
  • Optimize Strategy: Optimize sustainment strategies by analyzing maintenance concepts, supporting engineering requests, and managing configuration baselines.
